How to get there
1. By air
- Direct flights are offered from Manila and Cebu. Cebu Pacific Air travels three times daily from Manila while Philippine Airlines travel twice daily.
2. By land
a. Cebu
i. First Ceres bus trip leaves Cebu at 1:45 am and the last trip departs at 6 pm. On the other hand, the first bus for Cebu from Dumaguete leaves at
3:15 am and the last bus at 2:00 pm. There are several trips in between. The buses to Dumaguete are stationed at the Cebu South Bus Terminal
b. Bacolod
i. To and from Bacolod Bacolod to Dumaguete: first trip at 2 am and last trip at 7 pm Dumaguete to Bacolod: first trip at 2:30 am last trip at 7:30 pm
There are several trips within the day. Fare for a non-airconditioned bus is P232.00/way. Travel time is 5-6 hours.
3. By sea
a. Manila
i. WG&A Superferry and Negros Navigation does overnight trips to/from Manila via Tagbilaran.
b. Cebu
i. Cebu City to Dumaguete Port (via Tagbilaran)
